May God be with you, hold you close, and help your hearts to heal in time to remember the wonderful person Bob was & a life well lived.

We have known the Shilladys since 1963 when Jim met Bob during their first day on the job at General Dynamics in San Diego. Bob always had a great smile and enjoyed a good laugh. For almost three years, we participated in many activities as couples and were present when they had the joyful experience of starting a family. We continued our friendship over the years and visited each other on a number of occasions when the Bradleys lived in Pittsburgh and the Shilladys had a home in Lansdale. By then a family with one daughter had grown to two daughters and we had the privilege of watching both Lisa and Paula grow to the wonderful young women that they are today. We know that you are all smiling at the word young, but Lucy, Lisa, and Paula, you will always be young in our memories!
For many years, Jim and Bob carried on a rivalry between their Alma Maters, Ohio State and Penn State. They had a traveling trophy that Bob made that was mailed back and forth every year. In 1975, the Shilladys and the Bradleys were finally able to see an Ohio State - Penn State game together at the Buckeye stadium in Columbus. For Bob, Jim was always Bridley Boy and the use of that nickname is still lovingly used at times in the Bradley household.
We are fortunate to have two of Bob's original paintings from his early years as an artist. He was a man of many talents and he generously shared them with his family and his friends.
Lucy, Lisa, and Paula, our thoughts are with you today and in the days ahead. You have all lived through the most difficult of times these past years. We hope that you, over time, can focus on the many joyous family times and put that ahead of the horrors of a loved one with Parkinson's Disease.
Affectionately - Jim and M. J. Bradley

To the Shillady Family,
I got to know Bob on his second return to the company. While we did not work side-by-side on a regular basis, there were occasions when both our services were the common theme to move product forward. He is remembered for his love of family, stories of children and grand children, proud of their happiness and accomplishments. Lessons shared and values through his career experiences, engagement with customers, peer and colleagues expressed in reverence and admiration. To the raspy, soft spoken respective voice, the gentle smile, and the constant encouragement during tough times, memorable stories during lunch breaks with fellow retirees and former co-workers at Mariano's, thank you. You will be missed. My deepest sympathy and condolences. Sincerely,
Mendez
