Alice Kossack Obituary
Born in New Haven on March 17, 1947, a daughter of the late Lillian Beach Copperthite, Alice had worked as a research associate for Yale University.
Mother of Kristin Kossack, of Meriden; sister of Louise Martin, of North Haven, William Copperthite, of New Haven, and James Copperthite, of Middlefield; grandmother of Peyton Paiva.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Sunday at 4 p.m. Family and friends may call from 2 until time of service at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450. www.northhavenfuneral.com

I'm so sad! Alice and I were good friends when we were both single and worked at the UI together. I loved Alice and was sorry we lost touch. Something urged me to look up the Copperthite family today and now I find that I've lost any chance of reconnecting. I remember most, Alice's humor and her undying love for Phil. I have fond memories of having fun with Alice and the girls at Rid'n High Ranch in NY. She had a big heart and infectious laugh. I send my goods thoughts and my deepest sympathies to Kristin and her family.
