Albert MANEGRE Obituary
March 13, 1939 – March 28, 2016
Albert Joseph Manegre, age 77, died suddenly on Monday, March 28, 2016 at St. Ann's Residence in Saskatoon. Al was predeceased by Josephine, his loving wife of 35 years. He is survived by his three daughters, Donna (David) Cuthill, Dianne Manegre (Tyler Rendek), Deb (Owen) Fortosky and by his grandchildren Ben, Sean and Emmett Fortosky and Bryanna Cuthill. He is also survived by his sister Dolores Hagerty, his brother Jerry (Jean) Manegre, his brother-in-law, John Bretzer, many nieces, nephews and close friends. Born and raised in North Battleford, the son of Jack and Lucienne Manegre. Al moved to Saskatoon with his young family where he built a home and enjoyed a long career with Federated Co- op. Al retired at an early age to spend time with his family. Al's wonderful sense of humour and his love for his grandchildren will be missed. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at St. Ann's Residence. Vigil for Al will be offered on Thursday March 31, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 1, 2016 10:00 a.m. – both at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 211 Avenue O South, Saskatoon. The Celebrant will be Rev. Father Mick Fleming CSsR. Rite of Committal of cremated remains will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Enjoyed working with Al for a number of years at Federated Co-op. Sympathies to all the family. Rest in peace Al and enjoy meeting up with Josephine again.

Dear Family,
I was saddened to hear of Al's passing. We were not just cousins but also co-workers at Federated Co-op for a couple of years and became good friends as adults as we grew up in NB and PA. Albert always meant a lot to me. Sincere Condolences to the family and I will see you at his funeral.

My thoughts are with you, Donna, Diane, Deb and your families. I have many fond memories of Uncle Albert, mostly of coming to visit you all and of staying at the house he built on Northumberland. He had a good sense of humour and I remember him often having a good chuckle.
