Kenneth Blixt

BLIXT -Kenneth Isaac, of Conquest, SK, passed away suddenly November 8, 2006 at the age of 75. Ken was predeceased by his wife, Florence; daughter, Karen; and parents, Arvid and Pearl Blixt. Left to love and remember Ken is his special friend, Nola; four sons, Harlow (Niki), Morley, Rodger (Gloria) and Brad (Juanita); seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. Ken was a proud father and grandfather and never missed an opportunity to brag up his kids or grand-kids. He will also be remembered by many for his lifelong love of music. He cherished the memories and friendships forged from a lifetime of playing, whether it was with the Gold Tones Orchestra or an inpromptu jam session in someone's kitchen, he was a talented musician and it never took much convincing to have him strap on the accordion or sit at the piano. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at The Conquest School with Barry Friesen officiating. Interment will take place in the Fertile Valley Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to The Conquest First Responders or a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are in care of the OUTLOOK FUNERAL CHAPEL, 867-8255.
