Norman Bronsch Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 17 to Feb. 18, 2010.
NORMAN E. BRONSCH It is with great sadness that the family of Norm Bronsch announces his passing at St. Paul's Hospital on Sunday, February 14th, 2010 at the age of 78. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Norah (nee Lake) and his three daughters, Valerie (Greg) Sebree; Twyla (Ray) Stott; Lana (Ray) Morin; his grandchildren, Briton Sebree, Betheny (Dave) Zeledon; Breanne (Donavon) Rattray; Bobbi-Jo Sebree; Jill, Cameron, Kristen and Torey Stott; and two precious great grandchildren, Aeson and Peyton. Norm is survived by sisters, Margaret Klee; Edna Lerch; Gerry Scott and Shirley (Ed) Hoskins; one brother, Gerald (Bev) Bronsch as well as many nieces and nephews. Norm loved the land and at an early age began farming north of Radisson; he farmed for over 50 years. In 1969 he went to Billings, Montana to an auction school and in 1970 fulfilled his dream by forming Northwest Auctions later named Bronsch Auctions; a career that lasted until the present. Though life was busy, Norm's greatest love and enjoyment was with his family. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 19th, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Radisson. Interment to follow at Radisson Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Radisson, SK. Arrangements in care of Kurtis Rae MOURNING GLORY FUNERAL SERVICES (978-5200).

Dear Norah and family, and Norman's siblings:
I am so sorry to hear of Norman's passing and my thoughts are with you all. His memory will linger with us for many years, and know that my prayers are with you all.

I ran into people who, when finding out I was from Radisson at one time, asked if I knew Norman! Some of his auctioneer buddies from various places... He was well known and though I never heard him auction, I know that no-one could do it better.
With Sympathy
Gladys

Dear Norah, Val, Twyla, Lana and families;
We were very sad to hear of Norman's passing. He was a pivotal part of our family's life. He was a cousin and goodfriend, bestman, godfather, employer and eulogist. Dad especially, spent many great times with your family out on the auctioneering circuit. Norm was known far and wide and, as a Brunsch everyone asked if you were related to Norm the Auctioneer. I could say " Yes and he is also my godfather". He was an integral part of the community. He was known for his out-going personality and humour. He was aways interested in family and never failed to ask us "How is that Drew!"
We were pleased to be able to share your 55th wedding anniversary celebrations this past summer. Unfortunately, we will not be able to celebrate his life with you today at his funeral.
We will be thinking of you. Take care and God Bless.

We wish to extend our comfort to Auntie and Family during this time of sorrow. Uncle Norman always brought laughter and fun to the conversations. He was always concerned about others well being and boy could he roll that tongue unlike any other auctioneer I've heard. We'll certainly miss him on our visits back home......
