A personal friend of mine from our time together as fellow Lions Club members in Mullins. His character was of the highest caliber at all times. One of the most respected men I ever knew. Some people talked about living an exemplary life, but he actually lived it. Although I moved away 40 years ago, I have never forgotten his generosity and acts of kindness. God be with you and your family.

I was very sad to learn of Doc's passing and offer my sincerest condolences to his family, Daphne, and close friends, of whom there are many. We were fellow runners and cardio-athletes. Whenever I was around him, he always took the time to make me feel special and important. Beyond that, the life he lived will continue to be an inspiration to me. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

I was deeply sadden to learn of Dr. Mason's passing. He was my dentist from childhood to the time I left for college. I was also a FBC member and he was always helping the youth of the church. Myself being a retired US Army career soldier, I was impressed with his WWII contributions to protect our freedom. He was truly a hidden hero for his family and the town of Mullins. Dr. Mason was a perfect example of the "greatest generation". A super lifetime journey of contributing to "life" and helping others.

Dr. Mason you were family to us! No one will be able to replace you! Your dedication to your job and patients is something to be admired by others. You were an upstanding man, citizen, Christian, and the best dentist around. Thank you for all you have done. Thoughts and prayers to your family during this time of mourning.
