GRANITE CITY — Cristy Lynn Ryder, age 41, of Granite City, Illinois, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was born on August 22, 1979, in Belleville, Illinois.
A celebration of life was held in her honor at her parents' house on Sunday, Nov. 1 for immediate family only.

Still I think it´s so crazy how life goes on without you. That the earth continues to spin despite my own mother, the women who birthed me, is not here. Everyday I think about you. Everytime I see the color yellow I think of you. Look up at the stars and remember you said we´ll always be looking at the same ones. I see a cardinal bird on my hard days and think it´s you telling me to keep going and you´re proud of me. You were the strongest mother and that will always be enough for us. I live for you every single day. Until we meet again
