Stanley Davailus

Stanley Davailus, 88, of Spring Brook Twp., died Friday evening at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore after an illness. He was the widower of Arlene (Kuha) Davailus, who died in 1977.

Born Aug. 26, 1929, in Ledgedale, son of the late Adam and Pauline Durech Davailus, Stanley was a United States Army veteran. Before his retirement, he was employed by Ingersoll Rand as a machinist and tool and die maker. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Moscow.

Stanley's family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Gardens of Green Ridge for their professional and loving care.

Surviving are his sons, Robert Davailus and wife, Denise, Plains Twp.; and Allen Davailus, Nicholson; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Bette Davailus; and a brother, George Davailus.

He was also preceded in death by his sons, Stanley and David; and brothers and sisters.

A blessing service will be Wednesday at noon in the Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home, 401 Church St., Moscow. Interment will be at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.
