Donna Farabaugh Obituary
Born in Blakely on Nov. 11, 1960, daughter of the late George and Catherine Petorak Kuzmiak, she was an elementary school teacher in Fairfax County, Va., for 10 years before moving to Loudoun County in 2000. She taught at Cedar Lane Elementary School in Ashburn, Va., and was presently teaching in Arcola Elementary School.
Also surviving are a son, Michael Craig Farabaugh; a daughter, Kayla Ann Farabaugh, both of Arcola; a brother, George Kuzmiak, Garland, Texas; an aunt, Theodora "Dotsie" Petorak, Jermyn; many cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Orthodox Church, Jermyn, by the Rev. Dennis Swencki and the Rev. John Kowalczyk. Interment, parish cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m., at the Battenberg Funeral Home, 363 Washington Ave., Jermyn. Parastas will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m. with transferal to church at 9:15 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, Duke University, at www.can cer.duke.edu.

Dear Craig, Michael and Kayla,
Donna was a beautiful person and I was blessed to know her. It was a great loss when Donna passed away but she left us, especially me, with wonderful memories.
I have so many funny stories that are "typical" Donna stories. They always bring a smile to my face and that is when I know I was lucky to know her.
