Irene Murphy Obituary
Venice, FL - Former Lexington, Michigan resident Irene Murphy, age 73, passed away February 16, 2020, with her loving husband by her side. They retired to Florida in 2010 and currently live in Venice.
Irene was a talented artist who expressed herself freely through her painting and with her gift of conversation. She would go out of her way to talk to someone if she felt they were lonely or needed to be included. Irene was never afraid to share her heart and feelings and used that to enrich her relationships. She was loved by her family and each community she lived in or visited.
Irene is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry Murphy, her daughter Shelley, her husband Dan Goth and their daughter Abbie, her son Rob, his wife Julie and their daughters Jackie, Christy, and Danielle, and her sister Donna, her husband Dan Goryl and their children as well as, many extended family and friends.
A memorial will be held and announced at a later date in Michigan.
