So sorry to hear of Buster's recent passing. I met him in Europe in 1994 when I was a guide with Wesley Tours. I recently found a letter he wrote to me in December 1994. When the Old Hickory group departed the Netherlands after a wonderful commemorative trip Buster promised to write & send me some commemorative coins and a brief American history. He was true to his word. I treasure the letter together with the coins that remain taped to it just as he sent them. It was an honour & a great pleasure to meet Buster and the other members of the 30th Infantry Division who accompanied him in the summer of 1994. I still treasure the memory of that summer & the wonderful veterans and their families that I had the pleasure and honour to spend time with.

We met Buster on the 1999 Europe trip when we accompanied my father and the other Old Hickory veterans that year. For years Ed and I enjoyed a lunchtime visit with Buster as we passed through Fayetteville on our way to see family in North Arkansas. We learned with great sadness that his health was failing. He is now at rest. We hold Kathy and all the family in our prayers.

Bernie and I were very sad to hear about Marion's passing. We were totally shocked to learn that Bill had passed away too. You and your family are in our hearts and prayers.
