For Myrtis and family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

June 4, 2011

To the Radford family,
I know you will miss Bruce but remember the good times you all had and how he made you laugh. Bruce was a good friend of mine. I met him at Grambling, along with his best friends, Big Herb and Charlie. We shared a lot of great times together. Bruce was a caring, sharing, and a very funny guy. We all shared a very special bond and even though as time went by we didnt to see each other often when we left Grambling, we would all get on three way or four way with our friend Cassandra and would talk for hours. Bruce still had a since of humor even though at times we knew he probably wasnt feeling well. He kept his spirit up and always made us laugh. He will truly be missed from our circle of friends and I know he will be missed by your family. Be strong, because I know thats what Bruce would want you to do.

Take care, Barbara Johnson-Caldwell

Where do I begin? Such a beautiful man. I remember Bruce "on the yard" at Grambling State University and how he used to look out for me and called me his little
"Home girl", when I lived no where near Rigolette. Bruce was a hard-hitting and exceptional athlete, a great friend and a person that truly loved life and family. He will be greatly missed but to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord, which is far better. Myrtis, dear friend, you have my deepest sympathy and to the rest of the family, I am praying that God gives you strength during this time. God's promise is that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and we can stand on His promises. Be Blessed!
