Verna Gauthier Obituary
Funeral services for Verna Gauthier will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Rev. Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Greenoaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Gauthier, age 85 of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at her residence.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Yvonne Russell; and her parents, Lucien and Maria Rasch Perrin.
Survivors include her husband, Ollie Gauthier of Bunkie; three sons, Thomas Seymour of Bunkie, Jerry Seymour of Bunkie and James Shelton of White Settlement, Texas; one daughter, Karen Louise Russell of Denham Springs; two brothers; two sisters; 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
