Wendy Marie Gauthier

Wendy Marie Gauthier passed away on January 21, 2026, surrounded by love and family. She will be remembered for her warm heart, dedication to family, and the joy she brought to those who knew her. Wendy was the beloved wife of Michael Gauthier, with whom she shared 31 years of marriage. Together, they built a life rooted in love, commitment, and family. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Camryn Gauthier, who was the light of her life.

Wendy is survived by her parents, JoAnn Sander and Joseph Rock; her siblings, Lynnette Crawford (Raymond) and Troy Rock; and her in-laws, Myron Gauthier, Pete Gauthier (Leslie), and Wayne Gauthier (Gala). She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Marie Gauthier. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Kayleigh Rock and Chris Gauthier, and by her cherished dog, Gizmo, who never left her side.

Wendy was preceded in death by her grandparents: Eugene and Sadie Barbe, Jasper and Eva Rock, Andrew and Viola Dubroc, and Lester and Viola Gauthier.

Wendy worked alongside her family at the family-owned Guillory's Deli and Tamales, where she was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and friendly smile. Wendy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

A prayer service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 for 12noon at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will begin at 10AM.
