Funeral services for Patricia Feeney will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at David Haas Memorial United Methodist Church, Bunkie, LA, with the Rev. Kemper Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Feeney, age 76 of Bunkie, died at her residence on Friday, November 22, 2013.

Mrs. Feeney graduated from Bunkie High School. She then graduated from Louisiana State University where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She taught school in Avoyelles Parish for many years. As a member of David Haas UMC, she served as recording secretary for various church committees. She was a faithful member of her Sunday school class. Mrs. Feeney was actively involved in the Bunkie Service League. She also enjoyed being a member of her luncheon club, Mes Amis. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Fred Feeney; her parents, Julius Bascom and Eunice Benoit Johnston; and a daughter, Carolyn Frances Feeney.

Survivors include her two sons: William Taylor and his wife Diane of Lafayette, and David Taylor and his wife Sonia of Lafayette; her daughter, Vallery Taylor Albritton and her husband Billy, and 6 grandchildren.
