Shelly taught art history and art appreciation at both Chico State University and at Butte College in CA, retiring in 2004. Preceded in death by her parents Delbert L. and Betty Schultheiss Pugh, and her sister Lucy Pugh Tammen. Survived by her husband, Dr. Yoshio Kusaba of Chico, CA.; daughters, Lucy S.
