Michael Hanger Obituary

Michael D. Hanger, age 62 passed away at his home in Junction City, CA on August 13, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. Mike was the youngest son of Jarrett and Thelma Hanger. He was born October 11, 1947 in Arcata. He spent most of his life in Willow Creek and then later moved to Junction City, CA. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Jarrett and Thelma Hanger, his older brother, Jarrett "Woody" Hanger, and his infant twin brothers, Darrell and Doyle. Mike is survived by his wife, Kathryn M. Hanger of 42 years, his children, Mike Hanger Jr. and wife Jeantette and son Woody Hanger, his seven grandchildren, Darren, Devon, Miranda, Bryon, Logan, Marcus and Tannus. He is also survived by his older brother Jim Hanger and wife Linda, his sister, Joyce Petersen, His sister-in-law, Belva hanger, his twin sisters, Brenda and Linda hanger as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mike will always be remembered for his contagious smile, constant teasing and positive attitude. A memorial will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Willow Creek VFW with a potluck to follow. Please bring a dish and your favorite memories of Mike and join us.
