1962 - 2018
Terri Ann Maxon passed in peace with family by her side, October 13th 2018. Terri's friendly smile, outgoing personality, and love for life will never be forgotten. She is preceded in death by her father Larry Barker, mother Shirley Thompson, step mother Patricia Knowland, and husband David Marquis Maxon. Terri is survived by her two sons Travis and David and five grandchildren. Terri was born in Arcata California, grew up in McKinleyville and lived in Eureka after meeting Marquis. She spent her time enjoying the beautiful outdoors of northern California, soaking up the sun and cooling off with a swim. She loved the water, if the sun was out and water was nearby you could bet she would be in it. Terri's presence was always known when she was near, upbeat, involved, and ready for anything made her a joy to be around.
You are missed more than you can ever imagine.

To hear of Terri's passing makes me sad. I looked her up in hopes to see her during my upcoming trip to Eureka and found she had passed. I became friends with Terri when she and Marc first met and were just starting their relationship. She was such a fun person and we had some fun, crazy times. My sincere condolences to the kids and family
