James Overton Obituary
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at noon Saturday in the chapel, with burial to follow at Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery. Officiating is Brother Seth Hood.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Stubelt Overton, and son, Greg Overton.
Survivors include two sons, Allan Overton and Paul Overton (Michelle); daughter, Diane Gremaux (Steve); grandchildren, Tonya (Joey), Kimberly (Dan), Shawn, Cheyenne, Brooke, Jonathon and Noah; and one great-grandson, Dylan.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Overton was a retiree from Ford Motor Co., a member of the Masons and a member of First Baptist Church of Colbert Heights.

Diane and family, So sorry for the loss of your Dad. He's once again with his loving wife who has waited for him to join her. Your family was so blessed by having such wonderful parents, who now watch over you together once again. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
