I was so sorry to hear of Enid's accident and passing. Enid was always one of my favorite cousins in the family and I feel honored to have been a part of the Baker family. Enid always had a special place in my heart because of her love for family and Christ. She helped Ed and I in many ways when Aunt Alma was ill and I will never forget her for that. Ed loved her very much and would be very sad to know that she was gone, but I know that they have had a joyful reunion with all of their family members in heaven.

I was out of town but you were all in my prayers and thoughts every day.

Love to all of the family,

Virginia (Gina) Droke

Dear John, Anne and extended family,

Don and I both offer our heartfelt condolences for your loss. It is never easy to face a time when we don't have our parents but the memories we have somehow manage to sustain us. May the knowledge that your Mother is in the Arms of her Lord be of great comfort to you now and in the difficult days ahead.

God Bless,
The Flippins

To all the Whirley family:

There are few people on earth Jean and I admired more than Dr. and Mrs. Whirley, both from our occasional contacts with them over the years and from their deep faith and love as reflected in our decades-long relationship with John and family. Their Christian example inspired and challenged us, and will continue to do so as long as we live.

Everyone here at Prescott Church in Memphis sends our prayers and love to each of you, as you mourn the loss of Mrs. Whirley and as you celebrate the wondrous Christ-light which she spread during her life on earth and which continues to shine through you.

Dear Charlotte,
Your mother was a dear sweet friend and a loving Christian Woman. No matter how long the time between seeing you and she out at Woodmont she would always have a smile and ask how I am doing. Charlotte your mother will be missed greatly as she was such a fine upstanding woman but just knowing that she lived her life to the fullest will always bear the sweetest of memories. Take care and may God richly bless you and your family during this time. All my Love
