Margaret Franks Obituary
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 16, 2011, at Jackson Memory Funeral Home. Visitation was Sept. 15, 2011, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Old Liberty Cemetery.
Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Lou Halbrooks.
She is survived by her father, Roy Halbrooks; two brothers, Starlin Halbrooks, Buddy Halbrooks; two sisters, Brenda Marion and Phyllis Reding; four sons, Danny Allen, Eric, Thurston and Christopher Melson; a daughter, Chonda Posey; grandchildren, Cassie Harville, Peyton Hawkins, Cody Posey, Joe Melson, Jennifer Melson, Kristen, Ivy Melson, Jesse and Mahaleigh Coffey; great-grandchildren, Logan and Levi Harville, Janiyah Oats; former husband and best friend, Billy Joe Melson; also best friends, Barbara Vandiver and Elizabeth Green.
Pallbearers are Keith Halbrooks, Scott Halbrooks, Larry Oliver, Stevie Terrel, Patrick Collier and Tim Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Willy Cross, Doyle Montgomery, Jerry Terry, Jimmy Ray Terry, Cody Posey, Joe Melson, Hogan and Levi Harville.
