Clinton Goodrich Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Clinton Douglas Goodrich, of Cincinnati, formerly of Leesburg, announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 28 years old.

Clinton was born March 15, 1990 to Kellie (Knisley) Goodrich and Douglas Goodrich in Hillsboro.

Clinton was an avid lover of family, life and Cincinnati sports. You couldn't catch Clinton without a good pun and an infectious smile. From childhood to college to his current job at Belterra Park, Clinton positively impacted all of those who met him. Often described as hilarious, charming and charismatic, people will remember him for the laughter and joy he brought to his family, friends, co-workers and patrons. Clinton's spirit will live on through the recipients of his organs and tissue that are to be donated to those in need.

Those surviving Clinton are his mother, Kellie Goodrich (Allan Storer); father, Douglas Goodrich; fur babies, Dexter Eugene and Lola Bug; and sisters, Miranda (Mike) Roush and Erin Bohl. Clinton also leaves behind nephews, Michael, Matthew and Mason Roush and Jacob Bohl; maternal grandmother, Iona Knisley, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceding Clinton in death were grandparents, Robert Knisley, Elizabeth Musser and Ronald Musser; uncles, Donald and Dwayne Knisley, and James Goodrich.

"We know this may sound cheesy, but there's never been a life so grate."

Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 11 at the Creekview Barn, 8821 Fall Creek Road, Leesburg, with pastor Kevin Stuckey officiating. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Wednesday until time of the service at the Creekview Barn.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Clinton's name to The League for Animal Welfare, 4193 Taylor Road, Batavia, Ohio 45103.

The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.

My family and I go to Belterra frequently and Clinton was always a highlight of our visits. He made us feel welcome the first time we met him and then like he'd known us for years each time we returned. His smile and friendly nature was infectious and he will be greatly missed.

I only knew Clinton by visiting the Stadium at Belterra. I am deeply saddened by hearing this news. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family. You raised a very fine young man and can be very proud. He was always cheerful and happy and took the time to ask how all of his customers were doing and genuinely cared. I can honestly say he will be missed by many. Rest in piece Clinton.

Clint helped me through a tough time, just by being so welcoming when Stadium first opened. I was always happy to see him, even if it was just a wave when I walked by. I will miss him.
