James Wallace Obituary

James Wallace, Jr. of Norristown James P. Wallace, Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. He was 67. Mr. Wallace was a resident of Norristown, PA. He played soccer for Upper Merion High School. Jim was a US Marine Corps veteran, serving 3 tours in Vietnam in Radio Communications. He went to Chef School in Philadelphia, PA and worked as a chef in the food and catering industry until his retirement. Jim enjoyed listening to old music and lifting a few with friends. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 6, 1947, he was a son of the late James P. Wallace, Sr. and Elizabeth J. (Conway) Wallace. Surviving is a daughter, Mary Robbins of Houston, TX; a step-son, Stanley Owoc of Norristown, PA; a sister, Jackie Manson and her husband, Sam, of Cocoa, FL; an aunt, Doris Wallace of Royersford, PA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
