Kathleen McCormick Obituary

Kathleen McCormick, 72, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Saturday in the Kindred Hospital of Wyoming Valley.
She was a daughter of the late Anna Flynn and the late Anthony Palnisano. She was a Merchant Marine and a veteran of the Korean War.
She was a beloved mother grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born and lived in Brooklyn, New York.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McCormick; and son Patrick McCormick.
She is survived by her sons, Michael McCormick, New Jersey; Richard McCormick, Plains; daughters Marianne Matchett, New Jersey; Virginia Bartleson, Edwardsville; Christine Coolbaugh, Wilkes-Barre; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is clearly cherished and missed by all who knew her. We miss you, but you will never be forgotten.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 5 p.m. from the Williams-Hagen Funeral Home Inc., 114 W. Main St., Plymouth. Friends may call Wednesday from 5to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family.
