Mrs. Brenda Venis Obituary

Mrs. Brenda Stam Venis, 61, of Lebanon, Indiana passed away Oct. 20, 2015, at her residence. 
Brenda was born June 23, 1954 in Watseka, IL, a daughter of the late Paul and Grace (Hankey) Stam. She married Danny "Bo" Venis on May 2, 1981. He survives.
Brenda was a 1972 graduate of Sheldon High School. She was the bookkeeper at the Indiana United Methodist Children's Home for 26 years.
Survivors include her husband, Bo; daughter Miranda (Calvin) Wellington of Indianapolis and son Ryan (Jamie) Venis, of Lebanon; 5 grandchildren; a brother James Stam of Timberlake, SD and sister Linda (Craig) Bruniga of Sheldon, IL.
Family and friends will gather Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and services will be on Saturday, Oct. 24th at 11 a.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
Brenda will be laid to rest at Browns Wonder Cemetery in Lebanon.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Boone County Cancer Society, 117 W. Elm St., Lebanon, IN 46052.
