I served with Dick for several years on the Board of the Elmwood Cemetery and can attest to his devotion to the community. He was always there "thru thick and thin"! He and his type were and are few and far between.

Mr Lines was a good man. I lived next door to him for five years. Any time he would see me out in the yard he would always come over for a visit. I help keep the fence that separated our yards clean from vines and grass. He was the best neighbor a person could ever have. It was a privilege knowing
Mr Lohnes. May you rest in peace.

Dick was a good friend and mentor. He gave so much, and always had a big shoulder to lean on. He taught me so much and he and Ellie are surely missed. Miss getting him his morning coffee and sitting on the bench at the market talking. They both leave a big hole in all our lives.
