Dear Gail and Family, I'm so sorry to have learned of Jim's passing and your loss. I always respected his judgment. After being away from the Stillwater community for so many years, it was a special pleasure for me to renew our friendship this past summer. I still have his Marco Island card. May Jim rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to Gail and family in the loss of Jim. He would come and visit our Dad and Mother Ed and Mary Lyng, Watertown. I always remember his kindness to our Dad when he and his brother Al took him out for lunch at the Crystal Restaurant in Watertown. Our prayers are with the family. I will also have the Sisers of St. Joseph pray for him and his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I was Jim's Assistant for ten years when he was at SUNY. He was a wonderful boss - funny, patient, kind and fair. We laughed a lot and I loved working for him.
