Fagan, Brian J. LOUDONVILLE Brian J. Fagan, 73, of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2018, at home with his loving wife at his side. Born on April 6, 1945, in Troy, he was the son of the late Frank and Gladys (Morgan) Fagan. Brian married Karen Elizabeth (Hoffman) on June 29, 1968, and celebrated 50 years of marriage just prior to his passing. In addition to his beloved wife, Brian is survived by his daughter, Stephanie; and her husband, Swan Eng Oey; his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Allison; his sister, Caroline Postel; and brother-in-law, Harry Postel. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephew, Kimberly, Meghan, Deirdre and Michael; and grandnieces, Juliette, Hayley and Annabelle. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Frank Fagan. Brian will be remembered for his oversized sense of duty and humor. He kept a close circle of friends who were very special to him - those he took chances on and those that he looked up to. He was a life-long learner, avid runner and tennis player. He treasured his family, his trips to Maine to walk on the beach, and his dog, Lucky. Relatives and friends are invited for a memorial gathering on Friday, July 6, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham, with a memorial service following the visitation at 12:30 p.m. with Reverend Michael Farano officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Linden Cremation Garden in Albany Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
