Gram- I have come to this site a few times since you passed but haven't had the clarity to write anything! I have hoped so many times to wake up from this nightmare. I know you lived an amazing life full of love and wonderful memories and I am so thankful for the time we shared. I would give anything for another day, month, year...decade! You had told me a few times you planned to celebrate your 100th birthday- I had no doubt we would celebrate that milestone in 15 years- I thought you would live forever!
I find comfort in knowing that you are having a wonderful time in heaven catching up with your brothers and sisters. I just miss you like crazy! LOVE Tara

Becky, Sharon, Debbie, Christine, Lisa, Clifford & Family ~ We were so sad to hear the news of Aunt Clare's passing. We are also sad that we were not aware until after her services so we could spend some time with all of you and give you our sincerest sympathy in person. Please know how much Clare was loved. We were the "youngsters" at Toll Gate and all that was written is so true. She made us roar with laughter, always had a great story and was definitely full of guidance and wonderful advice. She had the biggest heart and always a twinkle in her eye when speaking of each and everyone of you. Another legacy from Toll Gate. So glad we were able to see her at Bobby's service. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers and that she held a warm place in each of our hearts. God Bless!

Lisa, Michele, and Brandon,

I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Clair was a beautiful person and I will always remember her fondly. I will take solice in the fact that she will be with family still in the next part of her life. She will be welcomed with open arms and although we will not be able to be with her anymore she will always be with us here, in our hearts, and in our minds.

Dear Lisa, Michele, Brandon And The Girls.

Your Great Gram as I always said was a special person, one of the best to be around, always smiling and always in a good mood. What I will miss the most is seeing her and getting that kiss on the cheek and that hug. Don't ever forget all the good memories you all have had and even though this time is very diffucult, she is right beside you, walking your every step to make sure each and every one of your lives was lived just as well as her's truly was. So as a Mother, Grandmother, An Aunt, Even A Great Grandmother she will always be that ray of sunshine that brightens your every morning and a soaring angel that will always be watching over no matter what.

Dear family of Clare, I am sorry for your loss. I remember your mom and some of you as well from my early years growing up as a part of the "Thruway Family" and then on the occasions when our moms would get together to visit. She was a gem in many ways and will always be in your hearts and memories. We were all blessed to know her.

Gram, I don't even know where to begin. You were the friendliest, and most beautiful woman I have ever met. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet you. You have made an impact in so many people's lives, and I am one of those people. I will miss going to watch Brandon bowl on Sunday mornings with you. Whether it was saving you a seat, getting you a donut, or simply helping you in the door. You'd always ask me to read you something if it was too far away, and although we didn't always get a good seat, you were always there for him, keeping score no matter what. I will miss all the times when Brandon and I would come over to sit with you to just enjoy each other's company and sometimes nap. I miss you a lot already, and I know Brandon does as well, but I have been right there with him, helping him through this. I promised you that I would take good care of him, and I promised you that I will always keep score. You can count on me. Keep an eye on him up there Gram and the girls as well. We all miss you so much, and will love you forever. I promise to always reach for the stars.

We are so sorry for your loss, 'Gram' was such a big part of our lives. Gram I sure do miss you and I sure will miss my greatest fan, my score keeper, and my supporter at the lanes. You never missed a game unless if you were really sick. But even then you would try to come, and I know some days you pushed your self and came to bowling. Which made me so happy. You kept score for every single game and you saved the sheets and napkins and even tissues. As long as you had something to write with you would keep score. I would always get fustrated when I left that ten pin (the pin we both hated) but when I left one pin I would always look at you and you would have the face the face of disgust and you would sit there shacking your head. But when we made eye contact you would point and smile and node your head like you got this you can do it. You would always tell me to us my black and white ball for that darn ten pin, and I did I always listened. That ten pin sure did cause US not to get that 300 mutable times. I would always think to my self who wanted that 300 game more me or you. I know you wanted it more. I always waited and tryed for that day to come and I never did it for you gram, and I'm so sorry. It hurts so much more now that you didn't get to see it. I always use to say to my self when gram passes I'm Gunnna sneak that 300 ring into your casket because I always wanted you to have it. So gram when the thunder and lightning are in the sky I know your bowling with Aunt Mary and Uncle Corkey , and all your friends and family that are up there, so bowl me a 300 I know you can do it. I will be down here keeping score for you and listening to how many strikes you get. Love always and for ever your great grandson Brandon
