Momma, I am so glad that you are no longer suffering or in a nursing home. This past year and seven months have been very hard for me but, I am so very glad that God gave you and me that time together as we needed it. It was a bittersweet journey in life for both of us and it drew us closer to each other than anything else that we had ever experienced together. No one will ever know how hard it was for me to have to place you in a nursing home and I hope you forgave me for having to do it. From the day you entered the nursing home I asked God to please allow me to be with you when he came for you and I am so very, very thankful to God that he allowed me to be with you at that time. Much water has run under our bridge through the years Momma and I am glad that you and I made our peace, forgave each other, and expressed our love for each other during our final year and seven months together. Enjoy Heaven Momma, tell Daddy hell-o for me, and be assured that I will be coming to see ya'll one day. I love you and miss you, Yvonne

First of all I would like to say thank you to everyone for expressing sincere sympathy during this time of mourning. In case you didn't know, my grandmather, who I loved more than she would ever know, suffered with alzheimers's disease until her death. She was a strong woman who would do anything she could for her 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchilderen, not to mention her in-laws. Grandma I just to want say that I will always love you until we meet again in heaven. The will never be a day that goes by where I will not be thinking of you. I will miss everything from your kindness to you delicious German Chocalate Cakes, YUM! I will never forget the days that you would take me and Chad to the park and let us play or when you would take me and chad out to eat for some fried chicken or seafood at Captain D's No matter what the cause, you treated me and chad like we were your own. I promise that I will talk to you everyday before I go to bed. Grandma I just want to say on behalf of all your family and friends,We Love You. Until we meet again in Paradise, May you Rest In Peace.

Sincerely,

Your Grandson,

Travis Mark Phillips
