Daddy, it has been almost a year since you went home to be with our Lord. I miss you SO much. It is so hard to be without you, I knew I could always depend on you to pick me up when I was down. I know it is selfish of me to wish you were here with us, but I can't help myself. I love you more than words can say & hope that you are proud of me. They say time makes everything easier, so not true. I miss you so much Daddy, I will keep you in my heart forever. Your loving daughter, Debbie.

Papa,
It has been 2 weeks since you went home to your mansion in the sky. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you. You have always had a special place in my heart and always will. You are by far the best Papa a grandkid could ask for. I hope one day my kids grow up to be half the man you were. You may have been quiet some of the time but your presence was always felt and I can still feel you now. I will never forget your calming voice and laugh that could brighten any bad day. I know you are rejoicing in Heaven and looking down on all of us. You will be loved and missed for the rest of my days! Til we meet again-Your loving granddaughter!

Daddy, I am so sorry, but I have let you down. I am not dealing with your being gone as I promised. I am going to get help because I know you would be very unhappy with me right now. I have the family worried about me. Dan has kept his promise & is taking good care of me & just for you I painted the nails on my left hand orange & the right hand blue. GO GATORS! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH DADDY!!

Finley Family,
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Not so long ago (Dec. 13th) I was in the same place you are right now and it is not easy but each of you are stonger than you know. Treasure your memories and may that bring comfort to you always.
