Justin Guth Obituary
Justin M. "Rexy" Guth, 31, of West 11th Street, Jim Thorpe, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. He was a welder for the KME Corporation, Nesquehoning. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Barry F. and Laureen A. (Herman) Guth.He was a 2003 graduate of the Carbon County Career & Technical Institute, Jim Thorpe, and received his associate's degree in welding from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, Lancaster.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Jim Thorpe.
Rexy was an avid freestyle bicyclist.
He belonged to the Jim Thorpe Sportsman's Club, where he enjoyed playing pool.
He loved his family and especially his stepdaughters.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his companion, Amy Locher of Lehighton; two brothers, Jason of Jim Thorpe, Josh, and his wife, Kali, of Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, S.C.; two stepdaughters, Ashlyn Henry and Hailey Barachie; a niece Amelia; a nephew Julian; and aunts and uncles.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe, with the Rev. Francis J. Baransky officiating. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery, Jim Thorpe. Call 6-8 p.m. Monday and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the Carbon Co. Animal Rescue, Jim Thorpe.

Dear Laureen and Barry, Amy and children. The loss of someone dear is more than a heart can hold. I am so very sorry for your loss.
