Lawrence Frantz Obituary
Lawrence A. Frantz, 60, of Fleetwood, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in his residence. He was the husband of Judith A. (D'Aversa) Frantz.
Born in Stouchsberg, he was a son of the late Addison Frantz and Barbara (Delong) Frantz.
He was a 1971 graduate of Lehighton Area High School and later received a degree in chemistry from Kutztown University.
Larry was known as a foodie. His passion for cooking was as large as the library of cook books which provided the recipes.
Surviving in addition to his widow is a sister, Margie Frantz in Delaware.
Service: Celebration of Life service 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, 117 W. Main St., Fleetwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his memory may be made to the Berks Visiting Nurse Hospice, 1170 Berkshire Blvd., Wyomissing, Pa. 19610. I knew Larry & Margie as a very young child, they lived next to my sister on E. High in Womelsdorf. I've always wondered what happened to them, thinking of them often. So sad to hear of his passing. A good life I hope he had.

To: Larry, my friend... Rest in Peace. I've been thinking a great deal this week about our first meeting and subsequent friendship that developed at Kutztown. Many good memories. What a blast we all had and friendships (all), that truly last a lifetime. For me, It's not over. I believe we'll meet again and I look forward to that day in PARADISE. I'm so glad we got to talk a couple months ago and were looking forward to seeing each other again unfortunately, Our next meeting will have to wait... Love ya BUDDY.

Lawrence was a childhood friend. He and Margie and their mother Barbara lived across the street from us. We haven't seen them in many years, but remember them well with fondness. Our condolences to his family during this difficult time.
