Michael Ziegenfuss Obituary
Michael C. Ziegenfuss, 38, of Second Street, Coaldale, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at home after a brief illness.
Born in Coaldale on May 29, 1978, he was a son of Dorothy A. (Digilio) Ziegenfuss of Coaldale and the late Ray A. Ziegenfuss.
Michael was a Carbon County Vo-Tech graduate.
He enjoyed playing basketball, bowling and swimming and was a member of the Panther Valley Shuffleboard League.
He is survived by his daughter, Serena Rei Ziegenfuss and a son, Michael John Madison Ziegenfuss, both at home; brothers, Ray Allen Ziegenfuss Jr. of Frackville, Frederick James Ziegenfuss and Nicholas C. Ziegenfuss, both of Coaldale; companion, Rebecca Cooper; nieces and nephews.
Service: Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 18, 2016. Funeral service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Marie Terry to officiate. Interment in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
Memorials in his honor may be sent to the American Cancer Society, Carbon Tamaqua Unit, 101 W. Frack St., Frackville, PA 17931; or to the charity of one's choice.
