I was a friend of Merk's from the time he began working at Finkbeiner's. He was great at drawing on paper the ideas from my head. We had many great times at our Christmas parties. I would like to express my sympathy to his family.

I had the pleasure of working with Merk in the 1970s. He was a great asset to the firm and he provided a lot of help and guidance to a young engineer. My sympathy to his family.
