Brandon Morris Obituary

MORRIS

Brandon J.

Brandon J. Morris, loving son of John and Laurie Clemons and brother of Brittany Morris, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at The Toledo Hospital. At the young age of 30, Brandon was called to be with God. For the past ten years, Brandon was employed at the Walgreens Distribution Center in Perrysburg, where he was praised constantly for his hard work and dedication. Brandon had many life passions; since early childhood, he enjoyed going hunting and fishing as much as he could, along with skeet and sporting clays shooting. He had a flare for cooking for his family and friends, especially his homemade rib rub recipe. Brandon was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Buckeyes fan; he hardly ever missed a game. He had a strong affection for his cats and dogs.

Brandon will truly and whole-heartily be missed. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Vereen K. Wilcox-Hatton Siefert and Judy Morris; along with step-grandmother, Shirley Webb Hatton, and father, Jeffery Morris. He leaves behind his loving parents, John and Laurie Clemons; sister, Brittany Morris; half brother, Austin Morris; grandparents, Ron and Vera Hatton; grandfather, Tom Morris; step-grandfather, Lynn Clemons, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at The Toledo Hospital and Life Connection of Ohio for their compassion and support while performing their duties.

A Memorial Mass will be conducted 10 a.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 Main St., Genoa, with a luncheon to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in honor of Brandon to Paws and Whiskers, 32 Hillwyck Dr., Toledo, OH 43615, or Treasure Coast Recovery Center, 7108 S. Kanner Hwy., Stuart, FL 34997. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH 43430, has assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared by visiting:
