Norris Belton Sr.

TRENTON - Norris Belton, Sr., 76, of Trenton, died Saturday at Hamilton Grove Nursing Home, Hamilton.
Born and educated in Ridgeway, S.C., Mr. Belton had been a resident of Trenton since the early 1950s. He was the owner/operator of Belton's Luncheonette and Seafood Restaurant for over 50 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Willie and Eloise Belton, a sister, Delores Hill, seven brothers, Thomas, Ferman, Theodore, Robert Lee, Jasper, Leslie and Willie James Belton, surviving are his wife of 61 years, Georgianna Belton of South Carolina; three daughters, Margie Bostic (Pete) and Diane Scott (Sam) both of Columbia, S.C. and Sharon Terrant (George) of Teaneck, three sons, Glen (Tina), Norris, Jr. (Joanne) both of Columbia, S.C. and Wayne of Trenton; four sisters, Ruth Kelly (Alphonso), Marvine Sheffield both of Trenton, Lucille Belton of New York and Shirley Belton of Washington, S.C.; one brother, Willie Lee Belton (Patricia) of Ridgeway, S.C.; 11 grandchildren, Pete, Jr., Jandel, Toya, Keith, Cory, Shacora, Arsenio, Eric, Melanie, Morris and Terrance; a special nephew, Larry Kelly; and a host of great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including Eunice "Candy" Clark.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton, NJ 08638. Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the chapel.
