Joanne K. Delaney

Joanne K. Delaney, 72, of Clairton, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011, in Center for Compassionate Care in Mt. Lebanon. She was a retired medical lab technician for Medical Group of Michigan City in Michigan City, Ind. Born March 15, 1939, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Julia Marie (Chomo) Henry. She is survived by sons, Damian W. (Denise) Delaney, of Michigan City, Ind., and Matthew J. (Michelle) Delaney, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren; sister, Bernadette (William) Baznik, of Clairton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by siblings, Julia Marie Henry, Patricia Mae Gollette and twin sister, Johnette; and brother, John Regis Henry. A shared memorial Mass with her sister, Patricia Mae Gollette, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton. Private interment will follow in St. Clare Cemetery.
