Thomas Lloyd Obituary

Thomas G. Lloyd, 73, of Finleyville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired instrument repairman for U.S. Steel's Irvin Works and a member of Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Monongahela and Stephen Bayard Masonic Lodge No. 526 of Elizabeth. He also enjoyed woodworking. Born May 9, 1939, in West Elizabeth, he was a son of the late Gomer and Alice (Sedan) Lloyd. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Evelyn E. (Szedon) Lloyd; daughter, Kris (Robert J. Maestri Jr.) Lloyd, of Bridgeville; sister, Thelma Conn, of Jefferson Hills; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sisters, Sue McKee and June Dubs; and a brother, Henry Lloyd. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 N. Second Ave., Elizabeth, PA 15037, where a 7:30 p.m. Panachida will take place. Additional viewing will be held from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday in Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church with the Very Rev. George Yatsko officiating. Everyone please meet at church. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. Offer condolences at http://www.bekavacfuneralhome.com.
