Ronald Efkowitz Obituary

Ronald A. Efkowitz, 76, of Penn Township, formerly of Clairton, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016, in his home. He was born July 25, 1939, in Clairton, to the late Andrew and Doris (Swift) Efkowitz. Ron was an Air Force veteran (first lietenant) and member of North American Martyrs Parish. Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Carol Ann Paharik Efkowitz; his loving son, Mark A. Efkowitz; sister, Linda (husband Samuel) Suica; and in-laws, John R. and Barbara Paharik.
Per Ron's wishes, there will be no viewing. His funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at North American Martyrs Parish, 2526 Haymaker Road, Monroeville, with Father Joseph Luisi officiating. Private interment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville. Arrangements entrusted to LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721.
