Valma Dunn Obituary

Valma D. Dunn, 83, of Natrona Heights, Harrison, died Wednesday (Oct. 9, 2002) at her home. Born Feb. 11, 1919, in Leechburg, she lived in Natrona Heights the past two and half years. Previously, she lived in Oakmont. Mrs. Dunn was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Oakmont, and was a former member of the Oakmont Elks. Survivors include a daughter with whom she lived, Mrs. Linda S. (Preston Jr.) Gardner of Natrona Heights; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Apolonius Jagodrinski of Vandergrift; and a sister, Genevieve Ahern of New York. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyal T. Dunn in 1987; her parents, Apolonius and Bronislaw Ostriziyeka Jagodzinski two brothers; and three sisters. Private family services will be held at the discretion of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 930 Center Ave., Pittsburgh.
