Dr. Lundie was a wonderful man. I had the privilege of working in his Vandergrift office, he was so well respected in his community. All doctors should have the commitment and compassion that he so freely shared with his patients.

Dr. Lundie was a very kind doctor who took care of both my parents, Ed and Marjorie Varner, until his retirement. My sincerest sympathy to his wife and family during this difficult time.

Dr. Lundie was a great doctor and an even greater man. He was kind, brilliant, humble, and good to the core. He will be missed here on Earth, but welcomed warmly and joyfully in Heaven.

Greatly appreciated his care for my Dad, Guy France, in1980, during Dads final illness. Great compassion, and helped us grieve. You can be proud.

Keeping your family close in thoughts and prayers. Though your hearts must hold deep sadness at the loss of your husband, father and friend, may it also hold the blessings of the life you shared and the love that will always be a part you. Praying that God will comfort your heart and uplift your spirit, and carry you through this time of sadness to a place of peace. There are too many stories to list of how he helped everyone, made you feel you were the only one he was concerned with at that moment. You too Anita. Both called my home while my son was in physical crisis to talk with him. You both showed what love and caring is all about. Bless you.

So sorry for his death. I remember you and Bill went to a convention, and I took care of Ellen. Bill and you were very glad I took care of her. I know in your heart you will miss them both.

A classmate of mine in medical school that I grew to love and appreciate for his gentle and kind manner and his excellence in knowledge. I was more impressed with his deep commitment to morality based decisions and a desire to do that which was right and with high ethics. We had an opportunity to reconnect with he and Nita in our later years which was of great significance to me. He enjoyed many things but was one of the bright spots in medicine and my life was blessed by having been around him.

On September 4th, we lost a good friend. Bill was one of the very .best doctors around. He really cared for his patients. If they couldn't get to him, he would go to them. When he retired we were filled with sorrow, but after that, we became very good friends with Bill and Nita. We will miss him, but I just know that when he got to heaven, He told the Lord how happy it was to see Him because Bill loved the Lord. Rest in Peace Bill and look down on us sometimes.
