Kathy,
Michael and I just heard the news about Pat, she will be greatly missed, I remember our times up at the lodge, hanging out and having a great time. Pat and I have had some deep conservations about life and just living. I know you will have sorry and the pain will be great, but remember she was here for you a long time and the love and memories you have will last for ever. Just know you and the family are in our thoughts and prayers. She was special. If you need to escape for a week or two come on down and visit up. Love always, Michael and Elisa Shizak,

Kathy and The Krivach Family

Our hearts were saddened to learn of Pat's death. She was indeed a special person who will be missed by all who knew her. She was so full of life and never lost those child like qualities that some of us envied. Like everyone who knew Pat, we also have fond memories, especially the "Betty Boop" kite and just as the kite went heavenward, so has Pat. We love and will miss her.

Kathy,
When I think of Pat I think of her laughing. She always was willing to joke around at our house during all the holiday's and family get-togethers. How many times I saw tears in her eyes from us laughing so hard. I could get away with doing things with her, when I was little, because I trusted she wouldn't tell on me. I think that's where alot of those laughs came from. It's special when you can be yourself with someone older than you when your a kid and that was what Pat gave me. I didn't get that with anyone else, so without Pat I would have missed out on an early trust that some kids never get to feel. Some things seems like they have no meaning until you look back and remember.
Love You.

To Kathy and the Krivach Family
When I learned of Pat’s death, I was flooded with memories of my high school friend. Pat was a genuine, fun-loving, and giving person with a little of the mischievous built in. I am sure that like me you have many happy memories of Pat. May these help console you in your time of grief and help keep Pat alive in your hearts. Please know that you have my deepest sympathy at this time of loss.

Pat,

You left me here to mourn you, but I'll have to say, a kid at heart you will always stay. And God said, yes that's Pat, she knows how to play, for she is one of my children that came home to play.

Love you Kathy, I'm here for you when you get home.

Our family is grieving over the death of our dear friend, and Dave's co-worker, Pat Krivach.

She passed last night in a Pittsburgh hospital where she was being treated for multiple organ failure.

Pat was such a special person . . . the only woman who worked as a chemical technician at the plant with Dave for 18 years . . . and so good at her job that Dave always wanted Pat on his team.

When our almost 11 year old Marielise was born, I slept in a recliner with her on my chest for the first year . . .

because it wasn't safe to let her sleep on her tummy in a crib (SIDS risk) . . . and that's how she liked to snuggle . . .

Pat would call me to visit and make me laugh and send me great books to read while I was held captive by love

She told me how she began to read for fun when she was in her late thirties . . . and not to worry about our kids being hooked on books because it was never too late to start.

We both fell in love with a wonderful writer, Sherri Tepper, and spent many happy hours on the phone dissecting her wonderful stories.

Pat and her life-partner, Kathy, were surrogate Mama's to every kid on both sides of their extended family were each loved like they were an only child.

No matter what the holiday, Pat & Kathy prepared for days and were ready for them to roll into Morgantown, set up camp at their house, and have the kind of fun no amount of money can buy.

She always remembered our kids and sent home bags of the goodies her nieces and nephews loved. We still have some of Miss Pat's sparklers saved from Labor Day . . .

There are people who live their lives for themselves alone . . .

And when they pass, there's no aching, empty hole in the hearts of those who cannot imagine life without them . . .

Then there's Pat Krivach~who was and is an outstanding human being~irreplaceable in every heart she filled and touched and lightened with hope . . .

Forever more, we'll watch fireworks and know Pat's teaching Heaven how to celebrate life.

We love you so much, Pat . . . thank you for never leaving us or forgetting us~
