I just learned of Miler´s passing, and I extend my belated condolences to his loved ones. Though we were never "bosom buddies," I knew Miler since Little League and-both being adventurous souls-shared some rather interesting experiences throughout the years. We played a lot of golf at Chico and lived together at "Animal House" during our final semester. He was a great guy and was often the "life of the party," especially when he did his Karnak the Magnificent routine. He passed away too soon. I´m so sorry for your loss.

I was saddened to have discovered this when I went to search the whereabouts on some former classmates. Miler was a good pal in Middle School and into high school at Acalanes until I relocated to De La Salle early in our sophomore year. He was an always cheerful, good guy. Everyone liked him a lot and I'm sure he had a great life full of friends and family. I'd often thought to maybe drop in on him at work some day to see how he was doing, but that won't be necessary now, of course. I'm hoping that he knew his Creator and is with Him in heaven as I write this. I'm really pretty sad to have read this today but was happy that he had such a large and loving family who will never forget this memorable man. Godspeed Miler. See you again one of these days soon enough.

So sorry for Maureen and the girls. I had the pleasure of golfing with him at a Golf Tournament to benefit Boys and Girls Club of Mt. Diablo. He was the funny guy in our foursome.
His sense of humour and calm demeanour will be missed by many.

MY brother Donald Light is a friend and former classmate and just informed me of Miler's passing. I just saw my brother this past weekend as he traveled from Richmond,VA to be with our father on Father's Day.
I remember buying sand bags @ the store and talking with Miller when he was at the cash register.Miler was a All around Nice Guy.
I am sorry for your loss.

Maureen, I was so sorry to hear of this great loss for you and your girls. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all in upcoming days, weeks and months. Time is the great healer, thanks to God, and I pray blessings on you as you travel the time needed for some healing. The pain never goes away, I know, but time does soften the sharp edges. Know you are in God's care, as is your beloved husband.

It has truly been a sad week, a great man and a great family. Yesterday at CCCC the Flag was flying lower than it should have been. Numerous individuals adorned Giants gear in his honor, the beverage of choice was Coors. He will be dearly missed by more than he ever thought possible.
God Bless
