Agnes Zeunik Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 25, 2010.
Agnes E. Zeunik 97, died Monday January 25, 2010. Agnes was born in Universal, Indiana to Joseph and Elizabeth Simko. She was raised in Indianapolis, where she met her husband of 45 years, William A. Zeunik, who passed away December 8, 1979. Agnes cherished the time spent with her husband raising their four children in the Speedway area. She was a wonderful cook, a skillful bridge player, and a lover of family get-togethers especially when having the opportunity to challenge her grandchildren or great grandchildren to games of Scrabble. Her Catholic faith was the most important aspect of her life. She was the last remaining charter member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, Speedway, Indiana. She lived a full and wonderful life! Survivors are her four children, William (Diane), Mary Agnes (James), Robert (Cynthia), Thomas (Geraldine), 21 grandchildren, and 42 great grandchildren. Her family would like to thank her caregivers at The Harrison and Sanders Glen and the parishioners of St. Maria Goretti for their years of kindness and support. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 29, 2010 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th Street, Speedway, Indiana, with visitation at the church beginning at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Christopher Catholic Church or to St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Westfield, Indiana.
