"A Cheerful Heart is Good Medicine..." Proverbs 17:22 describes Al very well. In high school my husband Dave, brother and family all remember his smile, kindness, modesty, discipline and he was friendly to everyone. It was not too long ago that he was driving on the road by our woods near his family's property and he stopped to chat as he had done before. We laughed as always. Al was just plain and simple good guy. There is not an unkind word you could ever say about him. It came as a shock to my family and we can only guess how difficult it is for his. As sad as it is for those on earth who will miss seeing his smile each day, working alongside Al, etc. We know in our hearts that he is with our Lord in heaven bringing his cheerful soul to share with all the saints and angels. We give praise and thanks to our God for sharing Al with all of us for this short time. May God be with all of you during this transition and bring you comfort.
