Dear Cei Family, it is with great sadness that I learned of your father's death. Another cousin from Meriden called and referred me to this website. My sister, June Jackson, and I offer our deepest sympathy.

I admired your dad, "Spec," and of course, your mother Janice greatly. I will always remember what your mom and dad did for the Arnold family, when we were all very young. I remember your father's great love for gardening, and how he was focused on all of you, his children. I remember the late summer visits to Point-O-Woods, down on the Connecticut shore, where your parents always offered us warm hospitality. Their kindness will never be forgotten.

I last tried to contact your father around 5 or 6 years ago. At the time, I believe he was living in the Carrabetta Arms Apartments, near downtown Meriden, if I recall correctly. He had just moved back from Albany, New York. He and I, unfortunately, were unable to connect. I last visited Meriden in August of 2016, when my dad's sister, Louise Lacoske, died at age 100. I know that I have not seen any of you since your mom's funeral, which I believe was in 1998, if I am not mistaken.

I respected your father greatly. He was a good man. I know you will all miss him. I will try to reach you through the funeral home. I will also offer Mass for your dad. Be assured of my prayers and best wishes for all of you.

Al and I go way back to when we were kids. His dad learned alot from my dad in the masonry business. I remember visiting all of the Cei kids when they lived at 7 Union St. So glad to have seen him a short time ago where we reminisced about old times. Another dear friend has gone to his rest May he rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to the entire Cei family.

Most sincerely, Jean R. Valenti

Sue, Mike, Donna, Kathleen - My deepest sympathy to all your family. What can I say about your Dad, I have so, so many happy memories of him. From South Orchard Street to Henry Street, to the beach he always treated me like one of his own kids. I will always remember all the happy times I had with your Dad and the family. Rest in Peace Mr. Cei.
