I last spoke to Glen/Mom in March, 2016. She told me as she had previously in other phone conversations that " If the Good Lord wants me, He can have me. "......I first met Glen in 1967 when she became engaged to my Dad Virgil Hoalt. I attended their small wedding at St. John's Baptist Church in Vincennes, Indiana in 1968. I was a student at Indiana State College in Terre Haute, Indiana at the time. I ended up in New York state. I am a Married Woman with an adopted daughter and husband of 36 years. My memories of Glen are coming from phone conversations and visits to the Farm with my Family. I am at peace with Glen Hoalt....over the years I know she was challenged by her brood of 6 children ( 4 she took on in 1968), yet she took all the issues and situations to the Lord in prayer. Often times we prayed on the phone, especially when major crisis hit. our family in 2011 with the loss of my Brother Bill....She loss a son who was apart of her life during those tough teenage years...I will cherish Glen always because she " stayed with what God gave her " and gave the best she could. May she rest in Peace !
