Grandma Anna,
You were a true light in our lives. Your 50th anniversary picture with grandpa sits at my desk as your generation worked so hard for everything. I will always remember what you meant to me which was to always have a positive spirit, be happy, enjoy those around you and love unconditionally.
I miss hearing your excitement when I arrived at your home and how you would extend your arms up and out to give me that kiss on the cheek. As I reflect now I understand how much just a visit from your family meant to you. I’m sorry I didn’t have the maturity to know that back then.
Back to your picture at my desk - I feel your spirit coming through that picture and it makes me remember to be the man I should be - kind and loving.
I hope you have peace with grandpa.

Remembering such a sweet and caring grandmother that always greeted us with a warm hug and a sweet kiss on the cheek. Never a bad mood and I remember you sitting in your chair at the Wrightwood house as I would walk in the door. Your chocolate pies were the best and I know you loved making them for us. As the years went on I knew how special those memories meant to you and how important having us visit you was but as we got older our lives got busier and it got harder to visit you. Had I known how special those days were I would have visited more and more.
Miss you all the time and think of you often. You will always be missed and loved. Now that I have a family of my own and my kids are growing up I see how they are starting to "sail away" more and more each day and I hope they come back to visit us.
You taught me so much and I appreciate all of that. You made such an impression on me and I will always remember you and what you meant to me.

The man that I am today was sculpted in part by the ways my grandmother led her life. She was a devoted wife to my grandfather, a wonderful and caring mother to her sons and a happy, joyful and exciting grandmother to me and my brothers. Although my children never got to know her as well as I did, I will have an everlasting memory to share with them. I am not sure who will read this or ever see it but I can be reached at 317.833.4133 and welcome any stories that can be told about her. I was thinking about her when I found the prayer card from her funeral as I was cleaning out my car visor. I carry this with me in my car and will do so forever.
She made such an impression on me and I will always remember her placing her hands on my face and telling me how much she missed all of us. She had such a great soul. I will remember the chocolate pies she loved to make for us and the joy it brought her to have us sitting at her dining room table for Thanksgiving, Christmas or any other occasions meals.
You will always be "grandma Dinchak" to me and I will never forget the lessons you taught me by demonstrating what it meant to have a caring and giving heart. I miss you, I miss my family and I hope you bless us someday with the ability to drop our guard and come back together. I'm ready to celebrate that day.
