Anna R. Palczer

Anna R. Palczer (nee Reed), age 66, of Eaton Twp., passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 at New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain. She was born in Crossville, Tennessee and had been a resident of North Eaton for most of her life. Anna worked as a Materials Technician for NASA in Cleveland for the past 35 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie Club #431 in Elyria. Survivors include her daughters, Denise (Michael) Mott and Stephanie (Steven) Thompson both of Elyria; grandchildren, CJ, Amanda and Allison Mott, Eli and Zachary Thompson; mother, Ruby Sanders of Elyria; brothers, Winfred (Priscilla) Reed and Donald (Alyce) Reed both of Elyria; sisters, Tamera (Alex) Lengyel of Elyria, Lesa (Cecil) Haymond of Rock Cave, West Virginia, Susan Barnes of Lorain and companion of 10 years, Dennis Payne of Amherst. She was preceded in death by husband, Dean Palczer in 1999 and her father, Bill Reed. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday at 1:30 PM at Butternut Ridge Cemetery which is located on the corner of Butternut Ridge Rd and Durkee Rd. in Eaton Twp. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to New Life Hospice, 3700 Kolbe Rd., Lorain, OH 44053.
